Where it began
A dog who saved
a little girl
I was eight years old when we got Chelsea — a tiny Mini Schnauzer who had no idea what she was walking into. I remember the exact day, I remember the feeling: this warm, wriggling thing pressed against my chest, and for the first time in a long time, I felt completely safe.
Childhood wasn't easy for me. I struggled in ways that were hard to explain to the adults around me. But Chelsea understood. She was always there — on the hard days, on the quiet days, on the days I didn't have words for what I was feeling. She just sat with me.
I didn't know it then, but that little dog shaped everything I would one day become.
"Chelsea didn't just give me comfort. She gave me a reason to believe that unconditional love was real — and that I deserved it."
— Brooke, Vogelsberg Family Farm
Why I started breeding
I wanted to give
that feeling to others
I'm a mother of five, and I've been breeding for over ten years. My family is everything to me — and that includes every puppy that has ever come through our home. I don't take that lightly.
I'll be honest: I'm a little OCD about this. The cleanliness, the schedules, the socialization protocols, the training — every detail matters to me. Not because I have to, but because I know what's at stake. These puppies are going into people's homes. Into children's lives.
I started breeding because I wanted to do it the right way. I wanted every puppy to go home to a family that had been chosen just as carefully as the puppy had been prepared.
Where it began
Because I still get
the messages
I still get the messages. "She slept in my daughter's bed the first night and she hasn't had a nightmare since." "She's been going through something hard, and this puppy just knows. She doesn't leave her side."
Every time I read one of those, I think about that eight-year-old girl. I think about what it meant to have a dog who just knew.
That's why I keep going. Not because it's easy — it's not. But because I know what's on the other side of it. I know what these puppies become in people's lives.
And that's worth every early morning, every sleepless night, every moment of doubt.
Meet Brielle
The story
is continuing
My daughter Brielle is 15. And watching her with these puppies is like watching myself at that age — except she has something I didn't have: she grew up knowing exactly how powerful that bond can be.
Brielle is not a bystander in this program. From delivery, to performing the ENS and ESI protocols alongside me. She does the 10-step massages. She trains. She loves. She shows up every single day — not because she has to, but because she wants to.
She has grown up understanding that a puppy isn't just a pet. It's a relationship. A responsibility. A gift. And she treats every single one like it matters — because it does.
"She doesn't just love them — she prepares them."

For Your Family
Imagine your children
growing up with this
When I think about what Chelsea gave me — the safety, the comfort, the unconditional love — I think about your children. I think about what it would mean for them to grow up with a dog who was raised with that same intention.
A dog who was held from day three. Who was massaged, socialized, and loved before they ever met your family. Who was prepared, not just born.
That's what we do here. And that's what Brielle is learning to carry forward — because this kind of love deserves to be passed on.
